The Tri-Lakes Economic Development Corporation’s (Tri-Lakes EDC) mission is to expand the Tri-Lake region’s economic base, achieving sustained growth and prosperity for the greater Tri-Lakes community, which consists of Monument, Palmer Lake, Woodmoor, Larkspur, Gleneagle, King’s Deer and Black Forest.
The Tri-Lakes EDC achieves this mission by:
Working with local and regional stakeholders to identify, recruit and help relocate new businesses to the area.
Serving as a liaison between the Tri-Lakes government agencies, nonprofits, associations and businesses, to help current organizations expand their presence within the region.
Educating local and regional stakeholders on the current economic health of the Tri-Lakes’ region through annual luncheons and meetings.
These activities are performed by the Tri-Lakes EDC’s volunteer board, which is comprised of local business owners, public service officials and residents. The Tri-Lakes EDC relies on investor membership and donations to achieve its mission.
